This quote is trying to give me a certain message that says, working hard will get you to a better stage in your life. For example when you study for a test a little bit longer. Most likely you’ll get a higher percentage of getting the answers right. When you receive the good grade after the test, you’re a bit better because you know that you deserve that grade. Why? you worked hard for it and you know that you didn't cheat off of someone.

i think this statement is about how we all need courage to do what we believe in. We need the courage to start doing the things we are afraid of doing. we need the courage to stop what we are doing if it is dangerous to your body or you don't want to. have courage in yourself and believe in yourself.
