This statement is sending a message that says that the right thing to do is to have respect for yourself. There is a sane that goes: you can’t love someone,  until you love yourself. You must have self-respect for yourself. How do you expect people to respect you and care for you, if you can’t even do that to yourself. Dignity could be the only thing you have left. You don’t want to give it away. That is what shows people that you are strong. 

Psychologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

These people study the behavior of actions that people make. They understand, explain, and change the behavior problem. They can work in schools, clinics, hospitals, and private practice. Their duties often include:

·        Diagnosing and treating problems. Interviewing and observing patients. Developing, selecting, and administering tests. Counseling patients, groups, and families. Developing mental health programs. Conducting research and teaching. Average Salary:  $45,000 - $65,000 Educational Requirements: Students should take the most challenging (AP or IB) high school courses available in English and science.  Must have licensed psychologists. To graduate programs is usually dependent on the quality of undergraduate performance in a psychology major.  Clinical psychologists must complete a two-year supervised internship to earning their doctorate and pass oral and written state qualifying exams. They must earn at least a master's degree.   Reflection: I would not like to have this job because it doesn't catch my attention.

You can complete anything you want if you have determination, you need to have positive thought on your goals because anyone can do anything, no matter how insane it seems. This quote is sending a message that says you need to be proud of your goals, and if you are proud then that means you would want to complete them. Live your life the way you want to. People can get in the way, but in reality no one can pretty much stop you. no one will get in the way. You shouldn't let them.

This quote has a message that says people shouldn't give up on their dreams or goals. For example when you try out for a team and you made it in, you are not just going to stop there. You are going to train hard to get better in the sport. You can upgrade in being captain, and or another bigger role in the sport. Another example could be, when you do your homework you will not give up on the problem that you are stuck on, because you want to feel accomplished. You will get a good grade for it.

This quote is trying a message that says nobody will be successful just because you have talent. Talent is not going to take you anywhere in live. Being a genius is not going to help you as much, because you can be super smart but you also need to have common since. Education will help you because that is why when you are a miner children go to learn how it is to get a job so you can be prepared, but it doesn't help you as much as persistence and education. Persistence helps you because you don’t stop, you prove everyone that told you that you couldn't do it in life wrong. Determination also helps you because it allows you to do what you have to do in order to get what you want. It lets you complete your goals. And that’s the best feeling. To know that you are worthy enough to complete your own goals.

For example when I am playing a water polo game, my teammates and my couch tell us that it is not based on the score, but how you play. Even if you lost it is good because you played good and you tried your best. Having persistence will change the way you look at things.

This quote is sending a message that say that not only do you need to be fit and active to be a healthy person, you can also be healthy by having knowledge. Having knowledge is a great way of being healthy, you need to stay fit as well. you can be healthy by having both. For example students that attend high school are healthy because they are getting an education so that goes for the knowledge. They are also healthy because they are fit for example they take pe class (physical education)  some students have also attended sports that they have to train for after school and even during the week ends of Saturday and Sunday. There is also a variety of student that attend high school that no longer take pe (physical education) but go to the park and work out during their free time.

The message in this statement is don’t let others think of you that you can do things that you don’t want to do. For example if your mother wants you to be a doctor but your dream is to be a astronaut, then go for it. Don’t be something you don’t want to be. I’m sure your mom will be proud of you because at least you have a job. if people think of you of a low class person that you can only be a waiter your whole life. tell them off, show them that you can be something in this world. “you were given this life because you are strong enough to live it.” I look up to this quote because it has a point. Why else would you be here? Just to take up space? Uumm, no. you are meant to be someone. I’m not going to let anybody tell me what to be when I grow up or who I should be. It is my life and I am the only person who has the right to make the decisions I want to do. It is okay if people want to support you, but it should be support that doesn't stop you or support that wants to change your mind. it should be support that helps you

This statement is trying to tell me that it is not a goal if you haven’t found what to do with it. Your goal needs to become something. Once you complete it or you are working on it, you willing to do things to complete your goal. You will feel regret if you don’t achieve it because you will feel like you didn't try or put enough effort into the goal. you will want to achieve you goal. who wouldn't?

This statement is sending a message that says when you say kind words it can effect someone more than you think. For example you could have said something that made someone change their mind from doing something negative. They could have thought twice and did something positive for a change. They probably looked up to you afterward and made you the role model. One of my goals is to change someone’s life and be a role model to them. I want someone to say that Natalie helped me and was their through the thick and the thin and she never gave up on me once.

This statement is sending a message that says your goal won’t be nothing unless you do something about it. Making a future is different from just dreaming about it. You need to complete it in order for it to be goal. If not it would just be a dream that never came true. People tend to feel regret because they didn't follow their hearts, I don’t want to be that person. I don’t want to have any type of regret in my life. 

The Assembly

The assembly was funny, I liked the way the teachers pretended to be like us. The truth is that’s the way we are and some people don’t realize it. The teacher did an amazing job because they were making every one laugh with the music and the outfits that they were playing. As well as the skits they were doing. I would like to see another assembly like that because the teacher were full of excitement and power. They made it serious and they stayed in character, or at least they tried to. I would like to be part of the videos that they were showing on the overhead because it seemed fun and it is a great way to get involved with the school. My teachers are doing their best to support us and I get that but sometimes they get me upset because again I am a teen and I feel like I am always right. The way I see things makes sense to me. It is hard for people to be open minded when they are talking to someone. Especially when they have been thinking the same ways for so many years.

This statement is giving a message that says that if you have a goal you need to do something about it in order for it to be completed. you have a goal that wants to be accomplished. You will feel proud of yourself because you took the risk of doing something and finishing the steps fully from beginning to end. It shows how strong you are when it comes to your life. You didn't give up, you made it, and nothing stood in your way. Why? Because you didn't let anything or anyone get in the way of your future and your life. Finish what you have started.

This statement is giving out the message that is saying, when you vision your dream then you know what you want and you have a plan to get it. Tour plan is to do certain steps before you do something. You do the plan every day, for example when you get home your goal is to complete or finish your homework. Your vision is that you’re going to do your math homework first, then your English. Your vision is going to be completed because that’s the way you want to see things. When you don’t vision things you can be irresponsible and have a mess of papers. For example you can be doing to things at a time and you do realize that you can be messing up on the homework and doing it completely wrong.    

Glenn Cunningham (Athlete)

Glenn was caught between an explosion. It had happened because someone put gasoline. He was only eight years old, when his brother was thirteen. His legs got burned and he was in pain. His brother at age thirteen died in  the fire, Glenn got lucky and survived. When the doctor was inspecting Glenn, the doctor said that he could might never walk normal again. In 1919 Glenn tried walking again. He went into the Olympics and was voted “The Most Popular Athlete.” Glenn like this verse in the Bible that said if you wait on the Lord, the Lord will help you. I liked what that verse said because it makes sense, and I believe if you wait for the Lord, then the Lord would help you. I feel guilty because I have not believed in myself for so many dreams or goals, and that made me give up. If I was in his situation, I don’t know how I would wait that long. I would have been impatient, frustrated. I use my legs every day, I use my legs for walking to my classes, for P.E to run, for my sport water polo so that I am able to swim. I would not want to lose my legs, or not have an ability to not use them, whenever I want.

This statement is telling me that I should be the one to break records, not the one to break down and give up. Be someone in life, and give the opportunity of being who I want to be. I shouldn't stop giving up just because people tell me I can’t do it. I’m going to go beyond and if your one of the people that don’t believe in me then walk away, if you’re going to support me through thick and thin then don’t tell me things that can shatter me like glass.

This quote is trying to tell me not to give up on my dreams. My dreams are to precise to give up on them. Your goals aren't goals until you reach the finish line. It doesn't matter how fast you complete the goal, it matters what the reward is. Taking your time shows that you actually want this for yourself. You want it to be perfect. You want your goal to be presentable. Showing people that you did this with maybe no one’s help, or maybe with peoples help.

This quote is trying to tell me that you can’t limit yourself because then you would never know how much you could have done. It’s like when someone is saying that you will never know until you try. When you limit yourself you won’t know because it’s like saying that you didn't try. When you don’t limit yourself then at least you won’t having regret of you thinking you could have done more then what you did.
