Student Success Statement
“Cowardice asks the question ‘is it safe?’ expediency asks the question ‘is it politic?’ vanity asks the question ‘is it popular?’ but, conscience asks the question, ‘is it right?’ and there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one’s conscience tells one that it is right.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This statement is trying to send a message that says that we are all followers. In some point in time we are followers. There will be a time when we are a leader, that only happens when you want to make a change and your tired of following. You get tired of following because others see the weakness in you and it shows that you can’t be yourself. For a change people tend to snap out of it and they want to change themselves. They want to show people that they are responsible for their own actions. I know that once one person does it, everyone will follow. Are you that one?
