I think this quote tell us that you only live once, and yes you are going to make mistakes. As long as you learn from them. If one day you went down a wrong road then you will have to work to not choice that path again. Maybe the path that you chose was good one. Then your job will have to be  to not leave that path. You need to make the best of it in life. Take care of people you love and then they will do the same.
