Radiologic Technologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
These people use x-ray machines,
scanners, and other technologically to treat illness. Radiologic technologists
are responsible for explaining to the patients on their tests. They replace the
equipment at the right distance and at the right angle. The patients have to
make the appropriate images for the physicians. They have a responsibility that
is to ensure that the equipment is properly maintained. The can work in hospitals,
clinics, medical laboratories, nursing homes, and in private industry.
Average Salary: $24,000 - $36,000
Educational Requirements:
Students need to take the most
challenging science, math, and English courses available in high school. Which would
most likely fall under the (AP or IB). students need to complete at least two
years of a training program. At least in a hospital or school. Must have a high
school diploma or have a GED certificate to enter these programs.
Reflection: I
would not like to have this job because it does not catch my attention.
