Oral Care Professional

Duties and Responsibilities:

They help the patients by keeping their teeth clean, and follow a process. The skills they must have are Interpersonal skills, and Compassion.

·        Remove tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth

·        Apply sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth

·        Take and develop dental x rays

·        Keep track of patient care and treatment plans

·        Teach patients oral hygiene techniques, such as how to brush and floss correctly

Average salary: $70,210

Educational Requirements:

You must have an associate’s degree in dental hygiene, and a Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. Students must take challenging high school courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. It would be better to complete at least 1 year of college.

Reflection: I would not like this job because it doesn't catch my attention, and it seems scary. I wouldn't feel comfortable.
