Dental Technicians
Duties and Responsibilities:
They follow the work orders and the prescriptions. They decide
which tool they should use and get the material. The tools are power tools and
by hand. The tools can be cracked or damaged. Dental and ophthalmic laboratory
technicians and medical appliance technicians construct, fit, or repair devices
that increase function in the lives of patients. These devices include
dentures, eyeglasses, and prosthetic.

Educational Requirements:
Most technicians have to have at least a high school diploma. Some
community colleges have education programs. They should take challenging high
school courses in science, mathematics, computer programming, and art. The training
is on-the-job training. They usually begin as helpers and learn more advanced
skills as they gain experience.
Reflection: I would like to have this job
because I would like to change someone’s life because I can’t imagine not being
able to talk.
