This statement is trying to send a message that says when you chooses the right can get more opportunities with anything that can come to  their path. When you choose the right it defines what kind of person you are. Choosing the right identifies who you are. You would want to choose the right because you want to show everyone how much they can trust you. how much you have grown in a person.
